Diana Marua’s Moving Tribute to Late Mum: ‘I Hope You Are Proud of Us’

Content creator Diana Marua recently penned an emotional message to mark 12 years since her mother’s death.

Through her social media pages, the mother of two expressed how much she misses her late mother as she recalled how much she loved her.

Marua noted that she is living the life her mother desired for her, further promising to make her proud.

“13.03.2009 ️ 13 years on. This day will forever be the lowest and the most lost I’ve ever been. Today marks 12 years without your love, your touch or your voice. Today, I’m living the life Mama

“I promised that I’ll make you proud as long as you talk to God about me. Thank you for being my guardian angel. Sometimes things happen and I know that was you. Thank you,” Marua wrote.

Marua stated how much her mother’s presence would have helped her in handling different situations, however, acknowledging that her demise was God’s plan.

“There’s a lot I wished you were here to see. Soo many times I could need your hugs, a shoulder to lean on, someone to wipe my tears, someone to laugh with or drop your grandkids over the weekend, but God’s plan was the best, I will never question that,” she added.

In August 2021, Marua revealed that she and her younger sister, Michelle did not get enough time to spend with their late mother due to divorce from their dad.

She disclosed that her parents went their separate ways when she was in class two while her sister was only 9-months-old, adding that their mother would visit them once in three months.

Marua further disclosed that their mother passed away after a short battle with diabetes.

“Two weeks after Michelle joined high school, my mom passed. She went to be with the Lord. The death of mum was a bitter pill to swallow. It was very hard to relay the information to my younger sister, Michelle,” she said.
