Celebrated bongo musician Diamond Platnumz thrilled netizens with fake American accent in a viral video.
The Wasafi records boss was explaining via the video why people refer him as lion and what drives him.
The video first appeared on his Instagram account.
“You know how we do men! The reason why they call me Simba is because I’m a tough and aggressive person. I’m a go gerra. Wha-ever I wan, a go gerrit man. That’s the lion’s spirit. I’m hot. Wha-ever i want I’m gonna hunt it. Can come straight to your face and take it (sic),” he said.
The singer’s words in video could not be heard well as he swallowed many words while trying to speak like an black American rapper.
Diamond who really tried speaking the language, said he was recording a song.
