DCI Reveals Details of Officer Seen Passionately Directing Traffic Along Mombasa Road

A video of a police officer energetically directing traffic has emerged on social media sparking hilarious reactions. 

The video shared by the National Police Service (NPS) showed the officer, dressed in full police uniforms, standing by the road while urging motorists to speed off. 

While communicating in gestures, the officer could be seen raising his leg to imitate the driver accelerating to speed up. 

He could also be seen dancing waving his arms to further reinforce his message. 

At one point, a bystander tried to step in and imitate the officer but he pushed him away, perhaps for him not to steal his moment of shine. 

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) identified the officer as Corporal Dennis Ouko, adding that he was controlling traffic at Syokimau along Mombasa Road. 

The DCI also disclosed that Ouko is a published author, having wrote a book on love, marriage and family issues out of personal experience. 

“Corporal Ouko who is also a traffic safety officer is a published author who has written a book on love, marriage and family values 

“He says he was motivated to write the book after he found a lady he loved and was intending to marry, in a compromising situation with another man. He however pulled himself together and moved on,” DCI wrote on Facebook.
