CS Magoha releases KCSE 2020 results

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha has officially released 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.

The CS announced Simiyu Robinson Wanjala from Murang’a High School as the top student who scored an A (Plain) of 83.33 points.

Second top student was Wesonga Allan Udoma from Agoro Sare High School followed closely by Chepngeno Terer from Kenya High School.

In the 2020 KCSE examination 893 candidates scored A( Plain). This was an improvement from 627 in 2019.

Those who scored university mark were 143,140 an improvement to compared to 125, 747 in 2019.

There were 223 special needs students who scored C+ and above.

747,161 candidates sat the KCSE exam between March 26 and April 21. 380,327 were male while 366,834 were female.

Earlier today, GOTTA.news reported that Students can be able to get their results by sending their index number to 20076 using either Safaricom or Airtel lines.

You can send the SMS using your Safaricom or airtel line and each SMS will cost you KSh 25.
