CS Magoha releases KCPE 2020 results

Education CS George Magoha has today, Thursday, April 15 announced the results of Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) 2020.

Speaking at KNEC Headquarters, the CS announced Mumo Faith Kawii from Karimwaini Primary School as the top KCPE candidate with 433 marks.

She was followed closely by Wesonga Nanzala from Chogoria Girls with 432 marks tied with Muriithi Angel from Maseno Girls Boadring School.

The first male candidate, Wanyonyi Samueni from Nzoi Sugar Company Primary School came at the third position with 431 marks.

Public schools took 10 out of 15 best candidates.

1,179,182 million candidates sat the KCPE exam between March 22 and March 24, 2021.

590,450 candidates of the KCPE 2020 were boys representing (50.07%) and 588,742 were girls representing (49.93%).

As earlier reported by, Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates can access their results via SMS.

To access the results via SMS, one is required to send the candidate’s index number to 20076.

The SMS will cost KSh 25.
