Couple Names Baby Born With Albinism After Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura

Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura has warmed the hearts of many with his act of kindness to a mother a four-month-old baby named after him.

Wilfred Ngure and his wife, Whitney Nyamusi said they named their little boy after the politician having been inspired by his story.

The couple named their firstborn son Isaac Mwaura Leon Junior.

The little guy was born with albinism.

In an update on Facebook, Mwaura expressed excitement, adding that Ngure approached him while campaigning around his area and requested that he visits his family.

Mwaura and his team visited Ngure and his wife on Tuesday, April 6.

“I was very surprised when Gitonga came up to see me at a meeting that I was attending near where he lives. The boy is a such handsome baby born in Matopeni area, Ruiru Town. I took time to pray and bless him, after officially conferring the nana to him,” Mwaura wrote in part.

As a result, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) politician offered to sponsor Ngure’s wife for a seven-month beauty therapy course at Beauty Point college.

Mwaura also promised to offer free sunscreen lotions, protective gear, and other support to the baby and his family.

“In deed, all the human rights advocacy work that I have been doing over the years for persons with albinism hasn’t been in vain! This one-act sums it all
