Radio presenter Cess Mutungi has publicly revealed why she stopped drinking alcohol.
The media personality disclosed that at a particular time, she excessively drunk to an extent of boarding a taxi home forgetting that she had parked her car at the club.
Mutungi said that due to many embarrassing moments, she opted to stop drinking.
“I go to the club and I was partying,” she explained to Mike Mondo, her co-host.
“So it was time to go home, I got into a taxi and went home. I woke up in the morning and I thought someone had stolen my car. I actually forgot that I had come to the club with my car,” she added.
Mutungi, who has rejoined Capital FM and has worked in other big stations, added after getting dinner and realizing her car missing, she got confused and even filled a case with the police.
“My car keys are in my bag but there is no car, so I called the cops and told them my car was stolen because it wasn’t in my parking.”
The 50-year-old said that police came through and helped her track the car which was not stolen but parked at the club.
The presenter disclosed that one of the officers advised her to stop drinking and she headed to the advise.
“The police came in and ultimately the car was found. One of them advised me to quit drinking. To cut the long story short, I followed that advice. To cut the long story short, I decided no more drinking,”
