A CCTV camera in a restaurant located along Gaberone road off Luthuli avenue in Nairobi captured a man snatching a mobile from a female customers.
In the incident that took place on Wednesday, June 30, the customer was busy conversing with someone on phone before the thief snatched off the phone from behind and took off.
The woman with the help of other customers tried getting hold of the man but their efforts were unsuccessful.
According to reports the incident happened at around 6:30 when only few customers are present taking breakfast.
In a similar story, KBC news anchor Shiksha Arora robbed on Monday, June 21 at the Globe roundabout flyover in Nairobi.
Shiksha shared details about the horrifying incident via her Twitter account on Tuesday,June 22, she disclosed she was just coming from the re-launch of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).
As I was looking to my left, the third guy slid his hand in through my window and unlocked my car, got into the back seat, grabbed my purse and asked for my phone, at this point in time I was in panic mode, couldn’t say anything.
“He asked for it again and reached for my neck, strangling me” she she wrote.
She tried all her efforts and managed to get some air and hooted loudly calling for help from other road users.
The thugs fled away with her pursue after noticing other road users learned about the robbery.
