Bride storms off wedding venue after discovering husband-to-be is taxi driver, not bank employee

Drama ensued in Kilifi after a bride identified as Jackeline Wanjiru ran away from her wedding ceremony after discovering that her lover, Alfred Musa was not a bank employee but a taxi driver.

According to reports her husband-to-be had during courtship made her believe that he was an employed at the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), Malindi branch.

Musa and Wanjiru dated for four good years and had decided to walk down the aisle on Wednesday untill the truth about Musa’s hustle unveiled.

The wedding ceremony had not officially begun when the bride learned about the man’s real job and had no other choice but take off in a lightning speed.

Her family and friends who were at the church to run after her to inquire what the problem was. Other guests at the church were left in astonishment as they knew what was happening.

The family reached to her and had a talk but all their efforts to have her accept the reality and get back to the church for the wedding were fruitless.

The wedding was suspended as the bride refused to wed and the man had to go back home embarrassed and without a wife.

Social media users who came across the post were left with many an unanswered questions. Some wondered whether Wanjiru truly loved Musa or she was just after his money.

Others found it wrong for Musa to lie about his job to the woman he loved instead of telling her the reality.
