Kenyan female boxer Zarika Fatuma has flaunted a bungalow that she recently acquired for herself and her family.
The boxer flaunted a three-bedroom house located in a gated community along Kenyatta Road in Kiambu County.
Zarika said she acquired the house using proceeds from SportPesa where she also serves as a brand ambassador.
The house features a master ensuite bedroom, a modern open plan kitchen, a well-lit entry hall, a spacious sitting room, and parking for two vehicles.
In 2017, Zarika sparked reactions after labeling herself a poor billionaire.
She said she was not recognized properly despite being the first Kenyan to ever win a World Boxing Council (WBC) global title and successfully defended it.
“There is a lot this country can do in order to reward and recognise its sportsmen and women… I made history but two years down the line, the sports ministry is yet to recognize my achievement,” said Zarika.
Zarika outclassed former WBC bantamweight champion Catherine Phiri from Zambia to retain her WBC super-bantamweight belt.

At the time, Zarika had 29 wins, 12 losses and two draws under her belt.
