He defended his remarks wondering how an individual would complain about corruption while at the same time giving out bribes.

“It’s very hard for Kenyans to understand the President and the Presidency, and I see people online talking bad about the President, and yet we are all part of the Government,” he said.

He added;

“You can’t complain about corruption and you yourself are busy being corrupt. President Uhuru Kenyatta has Kenyans’ interests at heart…. He has redefined the Presidency during his tenure.”

Big Ted’s remarks sparked outrage with a number on netizens criticising him.

@Limo_Limz: This is a mockery to Kenyans’ intelligence. Uhuru is performing dismally. If someone says God gives us leaders, I wonder where ours came from

@acenyake: Paradox tankin economy in a moment of monumental fuel guzzlers for state mandarins! Display of power add zero to mwananchi. Thought purpose was to initmidate Baba after sham election? But even he is too old for that kind of thing

@simeonominde: The confidence he has telling this lie. He is speaking from a point of privilege. How many of the pledges Uhuru made in his manifestos have been achieved? 1 million annual jobs? No. Laptops? No. Obscene borrowing? Yes. Nothing there is at the best interest of Kenyans, nothing

@broker_willis: Churchill should be careful about who he brings to the show because such sycophants who see evil and downright corruption and do nothing but choose to preach the gospel of prosperity will bring this country to ruin

@Erastus: No, sir, government isn’t all Kenyans! And, yes, Uhuru might have that cool and likeable demeanour, but he is grossly incompetent as a president, and history will judge him harshly
