According to eye witnesses, Betty arrived at home at around 8:20 pm when thugs who were at the gate forced their entry into her compound after the house help opened it.

The gang then followed her to the parking areas and ordered her to take them to the house where the rest of the family were.

They also instructed her to take them to the master bedroom upstairs as they demanded for money and other valuables.
