Betty Kyallo Slams Fans Who Questioned When she’ll Get Hitched: ‘Get Married on My Behalf’

Former television girl Betty Kyallo took to social media to weigh in on the alleged separation of American rapper ASAP Rocky and his fiancé, Barbadian singer Rihanna.

International media reported that the pregnant Rihanna dumped Rocky after he caught him cheating with fashion designer Amina Muaddi.

In her post, the former news anchor questioned that if a multi-billionaire star like Rihanna can be cheated on, what about other ‘common’ ladies.

“Kama hiyo story ya Rihanna ni ukweli, na sisi je? Tutafanyiwa nini aki,” said Kyallo

However, a section of her fans trooped to the comments revisiting her past ended relationships, with some questioning her when she will get hitched.

The Flair by Betty parlour proprietor, who is seemingly unlucky in the dating scene considering the many times she has jumped in and out of relationships, was irked by her fan’s questions.

In a subsequent comment on her post, the 33-year-old told them off saying they should get married on her behalf if they think she is delaying them.

“Hata nimecheka and for those who are talking about me and marriage, it’s okay you can go ahead and get married on my behalf, sorry for the delay,” said Kyallo.

Her comment elicited varied reactions.

Bryan Juma said: “God’s time is the best Betty, it’s better to marry late than be miserable in an unhappy marriage to please people who you even don’t know.”

Dennis Ogollah said: But sister, don’t put your standards too high, as long as you get one who is loving and understanding and more so trusts in God.”

Omuse Galfen said: “Mimi I was just thinking about you this morning and I send you hugs… Marriage is a scam…. Big scam… Live your life a gal baby… Today’s marriage is one thing you can’t force yourself.”

Kelvin Lumasia said: “Please tell them we are waiting for God’s right time then we announce the wedding.”

As previously reported by, Kyalo left a section of Kenyans puzzled after going live on Instagram while seemingly drunk.

The K24 news anchor told off people who insisted she should act as a role model whose actions stood to influence many.

She said apart from her daughter Ivanna, she was not obligated to be anyone’s role model adding that people always expect to act in a certain way that suits their interests forgetting she was only human and also wanted to have a nice time.
