In her letter, she slammed her former boss accusing her of humiliating her in front of her colleagues.

“I’ve left the job after the way you dressed me down in the office it was nothing more than aggressive and cruel but that’s a reflection on your character not mine,” wrote the woman.

Sharing the letter online, Julie’s son wrote;

“I love my mum because she has been tirelessly working as a bank cleaner for the last 35 years. And when she quit her job today, she left a wonderful letter for her rue boss.”

@ScottyReading: Yesssss! What a woman. No one is better than anyone else. I really hope this gets the attention it deserves because the bank needs to know. Good on Julie. Happy retirement

@heatonsandy34: Absolutely love this. My mum was a bank cleaner too when I was a kid and I used to go and help her sometimes. She walked out of a different job once at lunchtime with a note saying ‘you can stick your job where the sun don’t shine’ pushed under her boss’ office door

@vaughanyriley: How dare anyone to talk down to her or anyone in that position! The past 12 months cleaners have been a major part of the back to work progress! And all are major key workers! The manger has not only lost a key worker! But also a loyal and hard working woman
