Mungai and Baha lost their mum Beth Mbaya, famously known as Wanade to cancer in 2013.

“You were so strong till the end. Just as strong as your mum. Y’all made a really broken boy, a very happy man. I swear this s**t has hurt me in ways I might never even understand

“I’m one person that understands loss. The reality of it. It’s permanence. Losing my mom was by far the hardest thing I’ve dealt with. But wallahi losing my baby, I am not okay,” he wrote in part.

Mungai noted that he is acting strong for his son’s memory, adding that he has never been with a strong person as his fiancé, Aisha.

“You see me tryna be strong, it’s not for me. It for my son’s memory. That’s how I want him remembered. @mo_.aisha just know that he got that from you

“I ain’t never met anybody as strong as you. Barely seen two decades, but the things you’ve seen wallahi! Wear that s**t like a crown mama. It ain’t nowhere near over for us,” he added.

In addition, the grieving father promised to be there for his fiancé as they come to terms with their son’s demise.
