Angry Magoha confronts journalist over question on exam irregularities – VIDEO

Education CS George Magoha on Tuesday, April 6 confronted a journalist who questioned him on the rising cases of irregularities in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams.

According to a video sourced by, the CS blasted the journalist questioning his understanding of the English language.

“What do you mean notorious? This man doesn’t understand English. There is nothing that has happened,” said the CS.

Magoha further asked the journalist to tell him if he had seen any sign of safety breach in the exam center, maintaining tha the first opened the examination container before briefing the media.

He further urged the journalist to conduct research before making claims that could spark tension among candidates and parents.

“Can you go back to your data? You will find that this is a very good year. Do you get the point? He added.

Also, Magoha announced that Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results will be out in two weeks time.

Speaking on Tuesday, April 6, the CS said marking of answer sheets was complete with only English Composition and Kiswahili Insha remaining.

Further, the CS directed that all candidates be allowed to sit for exams regardless of whether they have cleared school fees.
