Businesswoman Anerlisa Muigai has said that she is a self-made millionaire. Anerlisa further revealed she made her first million not so long after completing her studies abroad.
Speaking in a recent interview, the beautiful lass known to have expensive taste revealed she founded her company, Nero Limited in 2013 after returning home from the United Kingdom where she was studying.
Having been around his parents most of the time, Anerlisa did not find it hard to operate a business and it did not take long before she made her first million.
“I was around my parents a lot when they were working. I learnt a lot about business from them and from those experiencesI made my first million at 23 years,” she said.
Anerlisa said she founded her company after failing to secure a job at her parents’ company.
“I first applied for a Marketing job in Keroche breweries but due to lack of enough experience, I was denied the job. So what next? I decided to start Nero company Ltd to produce Executive Still water, to learn more and maybe re-apply for the marketing job,” she revealed.
This comes two weeks after Anerlisa reacted to the closure of her parents’ business, Keroche Breweries over a KSh 332 million tax row.
In a statement on her InstaStories, Anerlisa shared her statement on the same disclosing how her company, Nero Company was affected by the closure.
She also wondered why it has been hard to find help in solving the brewery’s closure.
“It’s so sad that Keroche has been shut down and nobody seems to want to listen, help or negotiate
“We (Nero Company) happen to share the same compound with them and I must say, it has been very sad seeing Keroche closed for two months and even worse, about 650 people are stranded wondering when Keroche will start being operational and are also at risk of losing their jobs,” Anerlisa said.
