Alfred Mutua Explains Why he Hasn’t Deleted Lilian Ng’ang’a’s Photos

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has explained why he is yet to delete his ex-wife, Lilian Nganga’s photos from his social media pages.

In an interview with a local publication, the county boss defended himself noting that their pictures together signify the good moments that they shared.

Mutua said it was unnecessary for him to wash away the good times they had because of their fallout.

“God brings people to your life for whatever period He chooses and you have to celebrate the time you spend with those people. Regardless of any bad outcome or falling out, usually, if you spend time with anybody, as a friend, as a lover, as a family, remember the good times are better than the bad times

“You don’t just wash away the good times, you celebrate the good times and accept the position that God has given you and then you move on to what God will give you next,” Mutua said.

On Sunday, August 15 2021, Lilian and Mutua called it quits ending their five-year marriage.

Through her Instagram page, Lilian put up a post to announce the end of their matrimonial union, further noting that she had stepped down as the First Lady of Machakos County.

“Winds of change blew my way and two months ago, I decided to end my long term relationship with Dr Alfred Mutua. We had a good run and I am forever grateful to God he brought us together. We remain friends,” part of her post read.

Adding;

“With this, I put down the Machakos first lady cap and what an honor it has been to be of service. I will continue to do projects close to my heart, charity work, etc through the Lilian Nganga foundation as this has always formed who I am as a person.”

Mutua has in the past admitted to missing Nganga, noting that it is normal for human beings to miss people especially if they have lived together.

“You miss people who come into your life. The people who are in your life, even for a month, two months, or 20 years, leave a part of them in you. It is natural for you to miss them. You have to be the devil incarnate for you not to miss them,” said Mutua.
