Renowned actor, Ainea Ojiambo was on Friday, April 30 taken into arrested for questioning after he was involved in a shooting along the Moi Avenue, Nairobi.
The filmmaker was captured on CCTV cameras trying to fire at two thugs who confronted him on the street but unfortunately missed and ended up shooting a guard who died on the spot and a passer-by.

Apart from featuring in lots of local films, Ojiambo has crossed the boundaries and featured in various successful international films.
The veteran took the role of Snake in the popular Makutano drama series and Jack Zollo in the popular My Life in Crime series.
The actor, born on April 20, 1970 started his acting career working at stage plays.
In 2004, Ojiambo was picked to casts in the popular Hollywood film ‘The Constant Gardener’. The film performed pretty well and and even got nominated for the Oscar.
In 2007, He got an opportunity to act in the popular Makutano Junction series and those that followed were Noose of Gold where he was the lead actor named Ole Mpisha.
Ojiambo then featured in yet another Hollywood film named the first grader.

Apart from his acting career, just like any other person in the world, has had sad encounters with con artists.
While appearing in a past interview, Ojiambo recalled how he ended up being conned KSh 20,000 in what he was promised gold in exchange.
Ojiambo also disclosed that he loved gold so much and the greed blindfolded him leading him to the loss of his hard earned money.
Ojiambo although, revealed that before handing over his money the gold seller performed a couple of tests. He said they burned it with cigarette followed by pouring of acid on it and confirmed the gold was real.
After a while, the actor, 52, disclosed that he discovered it was fake after taking a bath while wearing the gold chain only to remain with silver chain.
The 51-year-old, is not only a filmmaker but also a private military contractor and top marksman.
He completed his training on March 1, 2020 from February, 24. He graduated from the World’s finest private Training center.
“Counter Terror course was challenging and demanding, but thanks to the Lord we finished safely with no injuries. As they say “you are as good as your last training session” ecstatic Ainea Ojiambo shared on social media.
In an unfortunate incident that happened on Friday, April 30, the actor ended up killing one and injuring another after firing his gun after being accosted by two thugs.
In a CCTV footage seen by GOTTA.news, Ojiambo was conversing with an identified woman along the Moi avenue streets before the thieves confronted him trying to snatch his gold chain.
While defending himself, he took out his gun and tried to shoot at the thugs before the unfortunate happened.
Ajiambo missed the target and ended up security guard and a passer-by leaving the former dead on the spot.
The thugs managed to escape. The actor was taken by police officers for interrogation.
