Actress Nyasuguta Accused of Defrauding Unsuspecting Job Seekers

Popular actresses Eunice Wambui, alias Nyasuguta has been accused of conning women seeking jobs abroad.

The actress was exposed by a group of young women who said she collected from them promising to get them jobs in Dubai. 

In an interview with TUKO, the women said they had done everything required of the processes but the actress has been giving them false promises. 

“We’ve stayed at her place for two months, some even longer than three months. We have to provide ourselves with food and other necessities even though we are at her house,” one of the women said.

According to the report, the women paid KSh 6,500; KSh 5,000 for medical tests and KSh 1,500 for a Certificate of Good Conduct. 

There was also an additional KSh 6,500 for a compulsory PCR test aside from other costs like air fare and visa are added.  

“She first told us that she’d spent the money on campaigns, then the story changed that she would first take one batch to Syria then Saudi before those of us meant for Dubai  

“It is all lies. Even those destined for Syria have never left. She keep postponing week after week but they never go,” the women said. 

The women protested and demanded that she gives them their passport but she allegedly told them to pay first before she relelases them.

“Just help us get our passports. Then we shall count our losses and continue with our lives out of her house,” the women said.
