60-year-old man on wheelchair rescued after falling onto railway track

A 60-year-old man is lucky to be alive after falling on a railway track as a speeding train approached.

According to reports, the man on a wheelchair slipped and fell on a railway track at a train station in Budapest, Hungary.

However, the man was lucky after the train was able to stop without hitting the disabled man.

After a few minutes, disaster management officials hurriedly lifted him back to the platform and transported him to the hospital.

In August 2021, a man in a wheelchair was rescued by heroic bystanders after falling onto the tracks at a New York City subway station.

According to a viral video, one commuter jump onto the tracks to save the wheelchair user moments befoe a train pulled in.

Other onlookers then joined in the rescue effort, the video shows, by working together to lift the man onto the platform.

He was lifted to safety just seconds before the oncoming downtown 6 train pulled in.
